Faraday Future (法拉第未来) "FF China" app lands on Huawei (华为) AppGallery — lets users view official info and reportedly reserve the FF 91

What happened

It has been reported that Faraday Future’s (法拉第未来) mobile app for China, branded “FF 中国” or FF China, has been listed on Huawei’s (华为) AppGallery. The listing shows version 0.0.3 (3), a 14.8 MB package, and categorizes the app as a “资讯” (information) application. According to the store details, users can access FF official news and product information, contact one‑to‑one co‑creation advisors, interact with the brand and — reportedly — learn about and reserve the FF 91 electric vehicle.

What the app does

The FF app is presented as a user‑centric mobile entry to Faraday Future’s mobility ecosystem: news feed, product pages, a community for “futurists,” and a co‑creation channel called UP2U where customers can give feedback across design, R&D, manufacturing and services to earn points and other incentives. It also promotes an FPO (Futurist Product Officer) program that supposedly grants deeper engagement with FF engineers and exclusive activities for prospective buyers. IT之家 reports the listing includes links and QR codes for follow‑up information.

Why it matters

Why does an app listing matter? Huawei’s AppGallery has become a primary distribution channel inside China after US restrictions limited Huawei’s access to Google services, so a presence there gives automakers direct reach to millions of Chinese smartphone users. For Faraday Future — a U.S.‑founded EV startup that has repeatedly signaled China as a key market and has faced funding and production challenges — the move is a pragmatic push to court Chinese buyers and community contributors. Given continued trade frictions and technology sanctions shaping the local digital ecosystem, automakers are increasingly adapting their go‑to‑market tools to China’s app stores and platforms.
