Huawei (华为) schedules Spring "All-Scenario" product launch for March 23

Event details

Huawei (华为) has announced its Spring All-Scenario New Product Launch will take place on March 23 at 14:30, the company confirmed via its official terminal account. The “all‑scenario” label signals another push on Huawei’s integrated device ecosystem — phones, tablets, PCs and wearables — a strategy Beijing’s big tech firms have leaned into as they try to limit reliance on foreign suppliers.

New phones expected

The company is expected to unveil two new mid‑to‑upper tier phones from its Enjoy/畅享 line: the Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max. Early renders and listings show a centered punch‑hole display on both models; the 90 Plus reportedly uses a rounded‑rectangle rear camera module and color‑matched back, while the 90 Pro Max is said to use a narrower bezel phone, circular rear camera design with glossy trim, a “giant” battery and — reportedly — a HiSilicon (海思) Kirin 8‑series chip for stronger endurance.

Rumours of foldables and 200MP periscope

It has been reported that Huawei is also teasing larger moves: a tipster claims a device codenamed Hope — reportedly the Huawei Pura X2 — is being warmed up and could be billed as the industry’s first large horizontal wide foldable. Separately, it has been reported that a Pura90 series has been filed for certification and may feature a 200MP‑class periscope sensor, with a possible April timeline. These items remain unconfirmed and should be treated as leaks.

Why this matters

Why watch this launch? Huawei’s device roadmap remains geopolitically significant. Western export controls have constrained access to the most advanced silicon, so any appearance of new Kirin chips or bold foldable hardware would be a signal about China’s domestic supply chain and Huawei’s roadmap for reclaiming high‑end smartphone capability. What will Huawei show beyond phones? Expect the company to frame products as part of a broader, self‑reliant ecosystem.
